The FSAA represents over 300 shellfish farmers across the state of Florida. Our members are the hardworking and proud farmers growing high quality oysters and clams in state approved waters. They are stewards of Florida’s natural resources contributing to improved coastal water quality while producing sustainably grown and harvested shellfish for retail and wholesale distribution. The FSAA supports our shellfish communities by educating policy makers, regulators and the broader public about the benefits of shellfish farming, connecting our members to resources, and seeking funding for research and other grants that can help our industry thrive.
